Conversion tracking

Google Ads Conversion Tracking for Chiropractors

Accurate tracking is the difference between knowing what your ads produce and guessing. We set up and test conversion tracking so you can see which campaigns lead to calls, forms, and appointment requests, without sharing patient health information.

What we configure

A measurement setup you can trust

  • Google Ads conversion actions
  • Google Tag Manager containers
  • GA4 events and key events
  • Form submission tracking
  • Online booking events where supported
  • Call tracking integration
  • Testing and troubleshooting

Why it matters

Traffic Is Not the Same as Results

Without reliable tracking, you can't tell which keywords produce inquiries, and Google's automated bidding learns from the wrong signals.

Smarter bidding

Automated bidding optimizes toward whatever you count as a conversion. Counting the right actions keeps it focused on real inquiries.

Clear budget decisions

When each campaign's calls and forms are measured, you can move budget toward what works and away from what doesn't.

Fewer false signals

Duplicate tags, page-view conversions, and misfiring events inflate results. We find and remove them.

Our setup process

How We Set Up Conversion Tracking

A careful, tested setup rather than a tag dropped on a page and forgotten.

1

Define what counts

We agree with you on which actions matter, such as calls over a set length, form submissions, and booking requests.

2

Audit existing tags

We review your current Google Ads, GA4, and Tag Manager setup for duplicates, gaps, and outdated tags.

3

Configure Tag Manager

Tags and triggers are organized in Google Tag Manager so changes are documented and easy to maintain.

4

Align GA4 and Google Ads

Key events in GA4 and conversion actions in Google Ads are set up so both tell the same story.

5

Test every conversion

Each action is tested end to end before campaigns rely on it, and checked again after site changes.

6

Monitor over time

Website updates and booking tool changes can break tracking. We watch for sudden drops and fix them quickly.

Privacy first

Measure Actions, Not Patient Information

Conversion tracking should record that an action happened, such as a form submitted or a call placed, without passing names, symptoms, appointment reasons, or other health information to advertising platforms.

We design tracking around that principle and avoid features that send form contents or personal details to ad platforms. Your practice remains responsible for its own privacy obligations, so we recommend reviewing your website tools and vendor agreements with your compliance advisor.

What we avoid

  • Sending form field contents to Google
  • Health conditions in conversion names or URLs
  • Audience lists built from sensitive health pages
  • Uploading patient data without proper review

FAQ

Conversion Tracking Questions

Do I need Google Tag Manager?

It isn't strictly required, but it makes tracking easier to manage and audit. We usually set it up if it isn't already in place.

Can you track online bookings?

Often, yes. It depends on your booking tool and whether it allows tracking on its confirmation step. We'll review your system and explain what's possible.

Can you connect tracking to new patients?

Only with data from your practice. If you can share which inquiries became appointments, we can report on that. Without it, we report on tracked calls and forms and say so clearly.

What happens to my existing Analytics data?

We keep your existing GA4 property and its history, and clean up or add events as needed rather than starting over.
